Chicken Pillows

Ingredients

1 package crecent dough

3 oz cream cheese

2 c. chicken breast, chopped

2 green onion, chopped

1 celery rib, chopped

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 can cream of chicken soup

1/4 c. sour cream

1/4 chicken broth

chopped parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Preparing the Filling:

 Mix together softened cream cheese, salt, pepper, chopped chicken breast, green onions, and celery.

Assembling the Pillows:

Flatten and spread the crecent dough, fill with the chicken mixture, and carefully sealed into balls before baking at 350°F.

Making the Sauce:

While the pillows cook, make the sauce. Heat a medium sauce pan over medium heat and combine the canned cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth, thinned with a little water or extra broth if needed. Cook until the sauce has warmed through and combined.

Serve:

This is best served warm but it will be quite hot inside the pillows. Chop some parsley to garnish on top.

Side Dishes: 

I have paired my dish wih garlic butter couscous. Simmered with chicken broth and garlic, and a simple salad is prepared with mixed greens, bell pepper, tomato, and diced avocado.
