French Toast

Indredients:

3 eggs

3/4 c. milk

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

pinch of salt

1/2 tsp. vanilla

4 slices of thick bread (I used Texax Toast)

maple syrup (for topping)

Instructions

Step one: 

Whisk eggs in a bowl until combined.

Step two:

Add the milk, salt, vanilla and cinnamon. Whisk until it’s incorporated. 

Step three:

Heat up a griddle or a pan over medium heat. Spread butter on griddle and let it melt. 

Step four:

Give the batter a quick whisk to reincorporate anything that has risen to the top. Put a slice of bread into the mixture, flipping it to get both sides and making sure it’s getting plent soaked into it. Place onto hot griddle. Flip them over when the bottom is a golden color. When both sides are golden, put on a plate to be ready to serve.

Serve:

Put some butter ontop of the toast with syrup and enjoy! Feel free to add any other toppings like powder sugar, fuit, or jam.
